There’s light at the end of the tunnel.

It won’t be a clean sweep like we had hoped, but it looks like the fever may break.

Maybe with new leadership things can start to get back to normal.

Maybe I won’t have to think about politics every day.

Maybe despite the fact that neighbors and friends and family thought four more years of what we’ve lived through would be a good thing, they can start to see the light.

Maybe there’s hope for the future and for our country.

And maybe it will turn here in my own backyard.
